Be Comfortable to Concentrate Better

​Q: If I meditate with a backrest, I’m comfortable and sometimes I fall asleep. If I don't, then I fidget and often change positions. So, what is more important? Being comfortable or having good posture?
 
SM: Be comfortable so that you can concentrate. Whichever makes you concentrate better, that is the best for you.
 
Try both. ​See which one is the most beneficial, the percentage of it.

For example, if you sit comfortable, you might go to sleep, but then you can also concentrate better than when you're fidgeting all the time.

Like 50% better or 10% better, then you do it, okay?

​Better than nothing.

​Ngồi Thoải  Mái 
      Để Tập Trung Tốt Hơn



V: Nếu con ngồi thiền dựa lưng, thấy dễ chịu nhưng nhiều khi ngủ gật. Nếu không dựa lưng thì con ngồi không yên, hay đổi vị trí. Vậy thì nên ngồi thoải mái hay ngồi ngay ngắn?
 
SP: Ngồi thoải mái để tập trung được. 

Ngồi cách nào tập trung được, thì đó là tốt nhất.
 
Thử cả hai. Xem cái nào lợi nhất, bao nhiêu phần trăm.

Thí dụ, nếu ngồi dễ chịu quá thì có thể ngủ gật, nhưng lại tập trung tốt hơn là cứ cục cựa hoài.

Ví dụ như 50% tốt hơn hay 10% tốt hơn, thì làm cái đó.

Còn hơn là không được gì cả.
